Since 1989, Mr. Samir Ayyash has actively contributed to the Jordanian and Arabic communities in both Australia and Jordan. He pioneered the hospitality business in Sydney, becoming the first to establish a thriving enterprise in the industry, which has now been operating successfully for over 30 years.

Mr. Ayyash founded Petra Equipment, a company specializing in comprehensive hospitality solutions. The business provides catering equipment to the sector, offers shop, restaurant, school canteen, and hotel design services, and engages in fabrication and fit-outs. Additionally, it offers consultation to guide newcomers entering the industry. Among the company’s major projects are government contracts, including work with the Australian Defence Force, valued at over $2 million. Petra Equipment generates an annual revenue exceeding $33 million and employs a workforce of 63 full-time and casual staff.

Expanding his business ventures, Mr. Ayyash entered the entertainment industry in 1998 by founding a production company focused on promoting leading Middle Eastern artists.

In 1996, he launched an export business, Asian Galaxy Pty Ltd, facilitating trade with China. This business remains active, handling an average of 20 container shipments per month and managing nine restaurants across China.

Demonstrating his innovative mindset, in 2010, he established CK Cell Technologies Pty Ltd, a medical research company operating under the brand name Endexome. The company, specializing in regenerative medicine and developing stem cell-derived products for major medical conditions, is valued at $65 million.

Mr. Ayyash is also a key player in the food franchise sector. He co-owns a chain of independent restaurants and is a business partner with Seagrass Hospitality, an international franchising company with operations in Sydney, the UAE, London, Qatar, Kuwait, and South Africa. The group generates $250 million in revenue and employs approximately 1,500 staff.

Continuing his pursuit of new opportunities, in 2021, he ventured into the mining and natural stone sector, establishing Galaxy Mining in Jordan.
